Rompeolas is the very charming quay of Sorsogon city. It affords a panoramic view of Bulusan Volcano across Sorsogon Bay and, inland, the Sts Peter and Paul Cathedral, with its pointed spires looming over the city. Small inter-island cargo vessels still dock every once in a while by its side. It is a pleasant walk especially early in the morning. It is also a favourite place for promenaders who flock in the late afternoons to watch the huge reddish-orange sun slowly slip down behind Pinaculan Island.

Sabang Beach Resort Operated by the municipal government, the Sabang Beach Resort is only a few steps away from the center of Bulan town. It offers individual cottages with rooms, including beachside picnic cottages, conference or seminar rooms, and a cafeteria. The wide beach is of fine white sand.

Sorsogon Provincial Capital (then and now) The Sorsogon Provincial Capitol Park, with the imposing Capitol Building as its center piece is located along Rizal Street just as one enters the center of Sorsogon City. It was built during the early American period by Engr Henry B. Lilley. The park beside it, with its gnarled ancient trees, is perhaps the largest, most beautiful and greenest Park anywhere in the Bicol Region. Towards the eastern side of the Park is a domed concrete kiosk, which locals to this day call "The Kiosko". It is now considered a historical landmark. It used to host bands and orchestras during formal balls and concerts at the Park.
